Each January, your IBOAI Board swears in five new Board members with the Oath of Office for their three-year term. On January 8th, the following five were sworn in to begin serving their term:
David Coley (first-time Board Member)
Namdeuk Kim (first-time Board Member)
We congratulate all these great IBO leaders, and we look forward to their contributions to the IBOAI Board in the next three years!
Earlier on that day, we were privileged to welcome to the IBOAI offices over three dozen Platinums who traveled to Grand Rapids from the Midwest for a guided tour of the IBOAI and personal presentations from many of our Executive Committee members. The Platinums are downline from Diamonds Kevin and Amelia from Ankeny, Iowa.
EC Members David Dussault, Juanita Maldonado, Joe Markiewicz, and Doyle Yager each gave outstanding summaries of each of the committees. Awards and Recognition, Business Operations, and Legal and Ethics are three of the active committees of the Board, and each of the Platinums in attendance obtained a greater appreciation of the work of the Board Members on behalf of the entire field in order to make this Business better than ever.
Finally, to close out the tour, Bill Hawkins and Howie Danzik who serve as the Governance and Oversight Committee members of the Board, along with Vice Chairman Joe Markiewicz, gave a brief history of the IBOAI going back to its origins in 1959. The entire Schwers team left that wonderful experience to head to Amway World Headquarters for a tour of the operations in Ada.
