Amway noticed all IBOs that it will no longer provide property insurance and commercial general liability insurance as part of your Amway business renewal cost. As a result, we encourage you to assess your insurance needs and speak to your own insurance provider for options. These benefits were offered through the Independent Business Owners Benefits Association (IBOBA). IBOBA is not and never has been related to or affiliated with the Independent Business Owners Association International (IBOAI). Initially, the property and commercial general liability insurance was to be discontinued as of September 30, 2024.
This date has been extended until December 31, 2024.
This extension will only impact IBOs that were already covered by this benefit prior to September 1, 2024.
IBOs who joined or renewed their business after September 1, 2024 will not be covered under this benefit as it is no longer part of renewal fees.
We understand the importance of protecting your business. IBOBA continues to offer other types of insurance that you may obtain at favorable group rates. These are currently administered by USI Affinity.
