Hello IBO Friends!
It is so wonderful to be able to update you on some of the latest news coming from IBOAI.
As we celebrate the arrival of summer, we acknowledge that this season is a great time to meet new people and expand our Amway businesses.
The IBOAI recently held our June Board meeting. It truly was a week filled with insights on new and upcoming product launches, updates on what is happening in the Field, incredible education and quality time spent with Amway staff and each other.
On Monday, we began our week at World Headquarters where IBOAI members set up a mini expo of each of the IBOAI committees. More than 200 Amway employees, from various departments, were able to visit each of our committee sites. Amway employees were able to ask questions to better understand the collaboration between the IBOAI and Amway. What a great way to share what we do and who we are!
We moved on to lunch at the XS™ World headquarters where we were surprised with special guests, Doug DeVos, his daughter Monreau, and her husband Peter. It was wonderful spending time with the DeVos family, second and third generation Amway owners. After lunch, we were escorted to Amway’s Spaulding facility where we had the privilege of touring the Nutrilte™ production area. It makes me so proud each time I witness the great lengths Amway goes to make certain our products are the best. Their production process is cutting edge in many ways. I am amazed how Amway continually supports the Field by delivering us quality products we need and can sell easily.
Our day was complete with dinner and music at Kids’ Food Basket, a non-profit in Grand Rapids, Michigan that offers various programs for children so that they have access to nourishment that fosters their lifelong health and limitless potential. Their community programs include feeding children who are unable to bring their own lunch to school, educating children and community members about nutrition as well as involving them in the planting and tending of the farm that produces fruits and vegetables for under-resourced families. It's wonderful to work with people who love to give!
Wednesday morning was really special! We met with a group of IBOs from LTD who came to our Board office. What a treat! I suggest every IBO take advantage of visiting us when you come to Grand Rapids. Learn about the history of the IBOAI. See how we started and why we're so strong with the relationship we've developed with Amway. A special thanks to Sandy Chapman, our Executive Director, and her staff who always do a wonderful job. They will be more than willing to arrange your visit.
June is a very busy month. NAGC just finished in Greece - Congratulations to the qualifiers! At the business meeting in Greece, a special promo was announced. Amway and the IBOAI are doubling down on all the new IBOs: the consistency promotion, strong-start incentive. This is a great opportunity for new IBOs to make an additional thousand dollars in their first 12 months, based on consistency of volume and consistency of VCS. New IBOs have an opportunity like never before. I can honestly say I didn't have that opportunity 30 years ago when we started, but it's wonderful to see that new IBOs do!
The promo will be an important cog in the wheel for first-year IBOs. We know that if business owners consistently earn a bonus, the renewal rate increases dramatically. I am very encouraged by what is happening across North America. I believe these next years will be some of the most powerful we have ever seen.
