IBOAI® Committees: Legal & Ethics Committee, Hearing Panel, Governance & Oversight
Founders Executive Diamond, Bill Hawkins, is a familiar and welcome face at IBOAI Board meetings. In the Business for 36 years and now serving his fourth term, Bill has previously chaired on various Board committees and as Chairman of the Board. He is currently attending to IBOAI Governance & Oversight. Bill's happy disposition and uncanny timing provides a lighthearted, positive influence at the perfect moments.
Bill and his wife Sandy share their love of the Business and commitment to the IBOAI. She has been active on the MAC for four terms. Both love interacting with IBO Leaders and Amway™ Executives through their IBOAI work, and, as a result, making a difference in people's lives. They both live by their advice to others: Work hard and stay humble. Bill says, "I am honored, humbled and blessed to be in this Business and doing what I am doing. It is so rewarding and fulfilling, it amazes me that not everyone wants to be a part of what we do."
Bill serves on several Boards in addition to the IBOAI, including the State University Foundation Board where he attended college in Minnesota. Prior to becoming an IBO, Bill was a high school English teacher and coach.
The Hawkins enjoy traveling and family time at their lake house in central Minnesota with their children and grandchildren. Hunting and fishing are two of Bill's favorite ways to spend his free time.
