Brilliant sun, warm breezes and clear blue skies enhanced the warm welcome awaiting Diamond leaders on Sunday, February 26 in Maui. The excitement level was high and handshakes abundant as new and longtime Diamonds arrived at the spectacular Grand Wailea, a Waldorf Astoria resort, and familiar favorite of IBO leaders.
Beautifully situated on the breathtaking Wailea Beach on the southwest shore of Maui, the Grand Wailea features a spectacular beachfront, multiple pools, acres of lush tropical gardens and endless activities for all ages - the ultimate destination for a Hawaiian getaway and a well-deserved trip for ANA's top IBO Leaders.
The first evening's Welcome Celebration in Molokini Gardens was picture-perfect in every aspect - incredible live music, beautiful tropical flowers and greenery, a breathtaking sunset, and lavish displays of gourmet food were the perfect backdrop to the party. Everywhere you looked, enthusiastic Diamonds were embracing, chatting, posing for photos, and enjoying Hawaiian, Polynesian and Asian-influenced foods.
During the party, the IBOAI® Board members caught up with fellow North American Diamond leaders and many Amway executives they communicate and collaborate with throughout the year.
IBOAI Board member, David Dussault, enthusiastically promoted the newly created IBO training developed in partnership with IBO Leaders and the IBOAI. This excellent training is all the talk in the Field - initial feedback has prompted positive comments, "Best training ever offered for new IBOs!" "It will favorably impact IBO retention."
It was only fitting that this well-deserved recognition of the IBOs' leadership, hard work, and commitment be celebrated in grand style at the Grand Wailea. And that is was! Colorful, expansive fireworks ignited the night sky, captivating the crowd and signaling the start of live music and dancing.
