The Jody Victor Family OSU Scholarship Awarded to Eryn Clause

When it comes to helping others pursue their dreams through education and hard work, the Victor family is always ready and willing to volunteer their assistance and support. For example, they established the Jody Victor Family Scholarship in 2012 as an investment in the future of hard-working undergraduate students at Ohio State University (OSU), and the future of our country. The purpose of the annual scholarship is to provide financial assistance to a full-time student attending OSU’s main campus and who graduated from Jackson High School in Massilion, Ohio, just as Jody Victor and his children did.

The 2012-2013 recipient of the Jody Victor Family Scholarship is Eryn Clause, a Marketing major in the Fisher College of Business at OSU. Eryn was specifically chosen for her interest in entrepreneurship.

On receiving this education scholarship, Eryn commented, "The Victor Family Scholarship has been a huge help to me. It means the world to me that the Victor family would make such an investment in my future and my well-being." Last fall,  Eryn had the opportunity to meet Mr. Victor after receiving her scholarship. They met and had lunch, allowing Eryn to get to know the family who is helping to fund her education. Eryn said, "To actually sit down and have a conversation with Mr. Victor and get to know each other made the scholarship even more meaningful than it already was." During their lunch, Jody shared photographs of his family and invited Eryn to visit them during a school break. Since they live in the same town, Eryn is excited to build a relationship with the family that is generously helping her pursue her dreams. Jody commented that he was also thrilled to meet Eryn. "She is exactly the type of student I had hoped would receive the Victor Family Scholarship when I set the plans for this in motion."
