Diamond Club Business Meeting Focuses on Building Leaders, Volume, and Trust

Sandy Spielmaker, Amway Vice President of U.S. Sales, opened the Business Meeting at Diamond Club 2013 in Maui with this:

"Your leadership and success are instructive. We are learning from the best - YOU! And, by listening to you, we all understand better what it takes to build the next generation of leaders: achieve results with the right portfolio, develop clear strategies and effective execution, and cultivate trust that strengthens relationships and thriving organizations."

To add to Sandy's upbeat opening, IBOAI Chairman Kathy Victor took the stage to also welcome the IBO Leaders and express gratitude on behalf of the IBOAI® for all they do to make this business opportunity the best. Kathy then recognized the IBOAI Board and Marketing Advisory Committee (MAC) for their hard work and commitment to representing all IBOs in North America. Other highlights of the Business Meeting included the announcement of the new Founders' Memorial Education Fund in honor of Jere and Eileen Dutt, Fred and Bernice Hansen, and Joe and Helyne Victor. The fund will be exclusively for the children of IBOs. Watch for more details on this new fund in the coming months. Amway executives shared information on the new product portfolio and gave a sneak peek of the ARTISTRY® Youth Extend launching in September. Guest Speaker Michael Simpson from Franklin Covey® spoke on leadership and was then joined on stage by IBOAI Board member Vinny Pappalardo and his wife, Dayna, who serves on MAC, to further discuss leadership strategy and execution. Tanios Viviani, Amway President of the Americas, spoke to longevity, giving special recognition to the Crowe's for 40 years and Strehi's for 50 years as dedicated Amway IBOs.

IBOAI Vice Chair, Bob Andrews, closed the meeting with an inspiring message on leading with trust. He emphasized that trust is critical to success in this business. And he brought a cheering audience to their feet with the wise reminder, "When trust is low, unity can't flow, and business can't grow!"
