The Legal & Ethics Committee receives any proposed new policy and any proposed change to existing policies, including changes to the Independent Business Ownership Plan and the Rules of Conduct for Independent Business Owners (IBOs). Proposed additions or changes may be submitted by Amway Global, formerly Quixtar or by individual Independent Business Owners (IBOs). The Committee evaluates the proposed addition or change, determines its impact on IBOs, and makes a recommendation to Amway Global as to whether it should be adopted or rejected.

The Committee itself may initiate a proposed addition or change to any policies and submit them to Amway Global along with a recommendation for adoption.
