Aura and Cale Andrews double their fun: Achievers 08 and the Las
Vegas Marathon, here at the finish line.

What do you do when you’re traveling on business and you learn
there’s an event you also love occurring at the same time? If you’re
IBO Cale Andrews in Las
Vegas celebrating Achievers ’08 and you find out the
Las Vegas Marathon is going
on, you enjoy both!
“I had to go ahead and run the half marathon,” reports Cale, used to
running even half of that distance in triathlons, “it was just too
cool not to do! I didn’t really train special for it or anything,
because I found out about it only a few days before, but I ran the
13.1 miles in 1:52, not too shabby. And, it was real cool to run
with 200 Elvises!”
Whether it’s running, mastering a full triathlon, or his favorite,
cycling, sports are a big part of Cale’s lifestyle, which fit easily
into his fitness business. Cale says that when he’s traveling, his
goal is to find events in which he can participate. For instance, he
would like to one day be in New York City at the same time as the
Marathon to run in that event. And in 2007, he joined his Dad, IBOAI
Board Chairman Bob Andrews, riding their bikes the 94 miles
from home to Achievers.
Says Cale, “Aura and I are Rubies, and even at Ruby you can
have an amazing lifestyle.”
