How do you begin the New Year? With a get-together and a
plan for progress in the year ahead. That’s exactly how the
IBOAI
started 2009, with its January Board Meeting.
January Board Meetings are a time for new officers to
introduce the newly elected Board Members and form
committees. That occurred the second full week in January
2009, with a day-long session that included a swearing-in
ceremony, an orientation program that included a history
given by
Jody
Victor of the Governance & Oversight Committee whose
father was one of the original association founders, and an
overview given by the three most recent Chairmen:
Jim Janz
(2007),
Bill
Hawkins (2008), and
Bob
Andrews (2009). The Board also worked on their 2009
Priority List.
“This list has been hand delivered to our
Amway
Global partners and received with smiles and eagerness,”
says IBOAI Chairman Bob Andrews in wrapping up the work the
