 Considering
all the excitement over new Perfect Empowered Drinking
Water™, it’s important that everyone be on the same page.
Here is what Quixtar / Amway Global has said in a recent
message:
Perfect Empowered
Water Claims
As you are aware, in April Quixtar will launch Perfect
Empowered Drinking Water™, a refreshing premium drinking
water infused with MBO™, which is produced using a
proprietary process that stabilizes oxygen in water. The
product is not manufactured by Access Business Group and is
being sourced from an outside vendor.
IBOs must take care not to exaggerate the product’s
effectiveness or imply that it can be used for medicinal
purposes. Only claims and demonstrations which have been
approved may be used to promote this product.
We are in the process of reviewing and substantiating
demonstrable claims. We hope to complete these tests as soon
as possible and will add additional claims and
demonstrations as they are substantiated. Upon the
conclusion of the review, we will provide a list of
substantiated and approved claims that IBOs can use to
market this product. Quixtar will provide you with an update
on the status of all tests and claims prior to shipping
product, which is scheduled for mid-April. Until then, we
appreciate the cooperation of IBOs in using only published
and approved claims.
The Rules of Conduct prohibit an IBO from making any
exaggerated product claims or any claims not supported in
authorized product literature. If an IBO is found to be in
violation of this rule, Quixtar will require the IBO to
correct the misinformation and may apply sanctions up to an
immediate six-month suspension. Please keep in mind that the
Corporation also has a Zero Tolerance Policy against any
unauthorized websites or unauthorized advertising. If you
would like to promote Perfect Water on the internet or in
any other medium, please submit the request to Rules
Administration for authorization at
qbcr.department@quixtar.com or by calling 616-787-6712.
Approved claims include the following:
1. Perfect Empowered Drinking Water is a great-tasting,
refreshing, and thirst-quenching premium drinking water.
2. A proprietary 15-step manufacturing process results in a
purified, remineralized, ionized, microstructured, and
stabilized oxygen drinking water.
3. Perfect Empowered Drinking Water is infused with MBO,
which is produced using a proprietary process that
stabilizes oxygen in water.
4. The product is purified using carbon and UV technology
similar to what is used to create eSpring®
purified water.
5. Perfect Empowered Drinking Water contains essential trace
minerals, including potassium, calcium, and magnesium.
6. The “Perfect Empowered Drinking Water” brand,
manufactured using the proprietary MBO process, is exclusive
to Quixtar.

Quixtar and the manufacturer complete the review.
