When
the IBOAI launched its weblog on August 13, 2007, it didn’t
know what to expect. A month later, the statistics say a lot
–
www.iboaiblog.com has been a successful link with IBOs,
especially those looking for answers to vexing
questions about the Quixtar Transformation and the
TEAM litigation.
Since
its launch, the interactive communications website has
served up more than 69,000 page views, reaching a peak at
over 6,200 page views on its second day and currently
averaging just under 2,000 page views a day. In its first
month, it has also fielded over 320 comments from a variety
of bloggers.
Many
have found the weblog a good place to get questions
answered, to see what others are saying, and to get official
word from the Board. Although the first month mainly focused
on the Transformation and litigation, comments have died
down and it now looks like time to broaden the subject
matter. So, look for new topic areas to appear on the blog.
The
weblog is the third of three websites the Board uses to
communicate with IBOs and others looking for objective
information on Quixtar, Quixtar-related products, and the
Quixtar-powered opportunity. The other two sites operated by
the Board are
www.iboai.com and
www.ibofacts.com. However,
www.iboaiblog.com is the only IBOAI site to voice an
actual comment – moderators review comments before
posting them to make sure the conversation remains
civil.
