Global
matches all donations made on their site, which is in
addition to the initial $100,000 donation that Amway Global
made to the
Red Cross
and
SOS Children’s Villages.
On
Monday,
Amway Global also
flew medical supplies to Haiti on a Corporate jet and on
the return flight, they brought back 10 Americans who had
been on a medical mission in Haiti when the earthquake
struck. Amway Global expects to make a second flight of
mercy Tuesday. Furthermore, Amway is sending 10,000 hygiene
kits to Haiti through
World Vision and
International Aid.
Amway Global encourages everyone to donate on the
Amway Global site,
where donations will be matched dollar for dollar. There are
donation pages for U.S. and Canada. Look for the “Help
victims in Haiti” “Give Now” link in the lower right corner
of the page.
