Much of Amway Global’s success is apparent in the Corporation. But much of it is also apparent in the cities behind the Corporation – Ada and Grand Rapids – where the founding families have contributed to the growth and vitality of the community over the past 50 years. Friday they saw Ada; Saturday and Sunday they got to know Grand Rapids: Global EDC got to see a glimpse of it in a city tour showcasing landmarks like DeVos Place convention center, the DeVos Performance Center, the Van Andel Arena, the Van Andel Institute, and the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel, all which sparked a renaissance of downtown development. Many took a tour of the Gerald R. Ford Museum, Presidential Museum of the 38^th U.S. President and friend of Amway Global.

Events began with “A Tribute to Rich DeVos and Jay Van Andel” and ended with a dinner and a private concert with world renowned entertainer Sting at the Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park Outdoor Amphitheater.
