It Makes Perfect Sense – Kids Want to Be Entrepreneurs or Business Owners

 The IBOAI Difference
 Frequently Asked Questions

It makes perfect sense to the IBO powered by Amway Global:

What do you think most children want to be when they grow up? A movie star? Music idol? Astronaut? Video game designer? President of the United States? Not on your life!

Two-thirds of 11-to-13 year olds say they want to be entrepreneurs or business owners, according to a recent USAToday Snapshot.

It’s an obvious choice to us. What child isn’t tired of being bossed around – he wants to be his own boss when he grows up! What toddler isn’t tired of other kids messing with his building blocks – he wants to make the rules and run things his own way, whether he makes a mess of it or is declared a genius. What young shopper isn’t tired of being told how to spend her candy money – she wants to spend her money on the things that matter to her.

What adolescent doesn’t get tired of playing in someone else’s sandbox – she wants her own sandbox and she wants to build her own sand castles!

We were all kids once but we grew up. Somewhere along the way, we outgrew our dreams and gave in to what others decided we should be. So we became bean counters, note takers, middlemen, and boss tenders. What we really wanted was to be the boss – an entrepreneur and business owner.

That’s exactly what motivates most IBOs to be IBOs. Being an IBO – an Independent Business Owner – lets the kid come out in you again and do things your way, as owners of your own business. It’s not fair that only some people get to enjoy living like a kid, and it doesn’t have to be that way. Not when you can be an IBO powered by Amway Global.
